Children’s Literature from Ireland with Deirdre Sullivan, Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick and Oisin McGann

Three of Ireland's critically acclaimed writers for children and young adults take us on journeys that draw on Celtic folklore, shapeshifting, superstition, Elizabethan theatre, fantasy, and consent in personal relationships suggesting once again that the imagination is our most precious natural resource.

All three of these authors, plus Dave Rudden, the award-winning author of Knights of the Borrowed Dark will be among the many authors inspiring local students as part of our free WriteOn! school literacy program in 2017.

Books available for purchase at every event: Proceeds support our free children’s literacy programs.
