Children's Rights

Small, Silent, Insignificant
Those three words are what we’re told to be
“You’re too young, you’ll understand when your older”
We’re told our opinion doesn’t matter, but we see things differently
We see kids on the streets alone, and we’re told to look the other way
But all we see is another kid, the same as us, no different
We see things the way they are
Our parents try to shape our minds to see things as they do, to remove our imagination

Like getting pushed out of the nest, forced to fly
Small, Silent, Insignificant
