Technology and Society

The sirens scream at us
Planes fly over head
I can’t do anything, but hope
Our asbestos filled ”house” rumbles
The cry of a newborn muffled under his own blood

Choking
Gagging
Silence
The mother howls as she holds her lifeless child in her arms

But this is just a regular occurrence
We have learned how to drown out the noise
Because we are just toys that take up space
No feelings
No emotion
Inhumane
Toys
