Ferguson and Fergus

The Clans of Scotland, 21 in total
The Ferguson Clan is the most poetic
Their motto is “Sweeter After Difficulty”
For me, it’s as true as the thistle on my symbol
First in Kilkerran and Kintyre now in Canada
The meaning of Ferguson means “Son of Fergus”
Fergus was the King of Scots
From 498 to 501 AD Fergus’s reign lasted.
I say, haggis is heaven
Scotland is a scene of beauty, serenaded by the light of heaven.

I may not speak like a Scottish lad nor have an accent
but all the same, I am Sweeter After Difficulty,
I am Scottish, I am part of The Clan Ferguson
