Write On! Chapbook showcase and Sharing hosted by Neil Wilson

After intensive writing workshops our young authors are ready to share the fruits of their labours. 

 

Featuring the work of students from Woodroffe High School with teacher Sandra Ross Nguyen, 2019 Ottawa Book Award winner Kagiso Lesogo Molope and youth with lived experience of homelessness in conjunction with Carleton University’s Centre for Urban Youth Research. Guest presenters include Claudia Mitchell and Dr. Maya Shetreat and Jacqueline Kennelly.

Breakout sessions with young authors, teachers, writers and guest presenters: The Rights of Children and Youth and Future Challenges, including health and wellness, environmental change, technology and society, culture and identity.
