We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Scottish Society of Ottawa for a special celebration of the life and work of Robbie Burns on the 225th anniversary of his passing.

Join us for a conversation between Dr. Pauline Mackay, author of Burns for Every Day of the Year and John Ivison, author of The Riotous Passions of Robbie Burns . They’ll discuss their research, the “passionate” side of Burns, and his international influence on Scottish culture.

Books are available from our friends at   Perfect Books  .

The Ottawa International Writers Festival is supported by generous individuals like you. Please consider   subscribing to our newsletter   and   making a donation   to support our programming and   children’s literacy initiatives  .

Presented in partnership with the   Ottawa Public Library  and the Scottish Society of Ottawa.
