Writing Workshop “Write It So They’ll Read It” with Lee Ann Eckhardt Smith

A workshop for writers of family history or memoir. Your family history or memoir deserves to be told in a way that ensures it will be read and enjoyed. Lee Ann will introduce proven writing techniques that help you take all your data – birth, marriage, death, census and memories – and turn them into stories. She will introduce six different ways to structure your story, and show how the building blocks of narrative – character, setting and plot – are used in these genres. Learn how to bring your family’s history, or your own past, alive on the page.
