Sean Wilson
In Person Fiction
This is an outstanding graphic tale, told at a level of literary and visual sophistication which introduced new standards and aspirations to the genre
Join two of the world’s most popular comic book writers for a session on writing novels and graphic novels with a special focus on the world-building required to bring the fantastic to life. Both authors have written prolifically for Marvel and DC and a host of smaller presses. J.M. DeMatteis, perhaps best known for legendary runs on Spiderman and Justice League International, is the creator of Moonshadow, Brooklyn Dreams and Abadazad, as well as Imaginalis, a novel for young readers. Mike Carey, author of the Felix Castor novels and one of the architects of Marvel’s X-Men line, had acclaimed runs on Lucifer, Hellblazer and Ultimate Fantastic Four and is the creator of Crossing Midnight and The Unwritten.
