Nian Vincent works for the Brazilian National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heirtage, where she works closely with communities to preserve intangible heritage and traditional Brazilian culture. Her research focuses on Indigenous visual material culture, museology, and curatorial practice. She is the author of Paris, Maori: the museum and its others — native curatorship at the Quai Branly, and co-editor of Arctic/Amazon.
