Megan Misztal (she/her) is a storyteller. She grew up in Oxford Mills, Ontario and now lives in Ottawa on the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people. Her poems have been published in Bywords.ca, antilang., and Soundbite magazines, as well as Apt613’s anthology of Ottawa poets entitled Could This Be the Last Time. She has had the great pleasure of being the recipient of the George Johnstone Poetry Prize in 2015, and the John Newlove Poetry Award in 2020. Megan graduated with an MA degree in English Literature in 2018. Vestiges is her debut chapbook.
