Matthew Walsh is a writer from Nova Scotia. His work has appeared or will appear in Jonathan Magazine, Qwerty, Carousel, Descant, HOAX, The Fractured Nuance, Existere, and Joyland: A Hub for Short Fiction. He was recently shortlisted for the Magpie Poetry Prize. In 2014 he won the John Newlove Poetry Award for his poem "After Googling Ophelia." His chapbook, "Heel" is being launched at the Ottawa International Writers Festival.
