Her latest book is the acclaimed popular history, Muskoka’s Main Street: 150 Years of Courage and Adventure Along the Muskoka Colonization Road. Her blog, “Work in Progress,” documented the two-year process of researching and writing the book, and now follows her research into her family’s deep roots in the Niagara region. Her first book, Strength Within: The Granger Chronicles, is the saga of Lee Ann’s mother’s extraordinary family.

Lee Ann’s workshop series, “How to Write Family History and Memoir – Even if You’re Not a Writer” has been running in Ottawa and Perth since 2007. She has written articles on writing family history and memoir for Fifty-Five Plus magazine, Family Chronicle magazine and The Humm newspaper. She has also been invited to speak about writing by many groups, including the Probus Club of Gravenhurst, museums in Ottawa and Muskoka, and the Ontario Genealogical Society.
