Marnie Woodrow was recently awarded an Excellence In Teaching distinction from her students at The University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies where she applies her energetic style to various courses in the Creative Writing department. The author of two short fiction collections, her novel, Spelling Mississippi was short-listed for the In Canada First Novel prize. Currently at work on a new novel and stories, she has also published reviews, articles, poems, humour and short fiction in The Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, The Ottawa Citizen, XTRA, CV2 and The National Post, among others.
