Norman Snider was nominated for four National Magazine Awards, and he appeared regularly in Toronto Life, Saturday Night, Maclean's and Rolling Stone. For seven years he was a weekly columnist for Canada's national newspaper, the Globe and Mail. He is the author of a work of political journalism, The Changing of the Guard, as well as the bestselling true-crime book Smokescreen. He has also written extensively for movies and television, including the Juno award-winning and internationally recognized psychological drama Dead Ringers, the crime dramas Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss, and Valentine's Day.
Norman Snider is currently the NBC Universal Screenwriter-in-Residence at Innis College, University of Toronto.
