Linda Moore is primarily a stage director for live theatre. She has worked at many theatres across Canada including The Shaw Festival, the Manitoba Theatre Centre and the Stratford Festival. She was the artistic director of Neptune Theatre in Halifax from 1990 to 2000, producing over ninety productions. She has taught theatre classes for McGill University, Dalhousie Theatre Department, the University of Victoria and the National Theatre School of Canada. She wrote the foreword for I Still Love You, the 2006 Governor General’s Award-winning collection of plays by Daniel MacIvor. In 2005 Linda was awarded the HRM Mayor’s Prize for Achievement in theatre, and in 1997, she received an Honorary Doctor of Letters from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax.
