Lewis Davies' work includes plays, novels, stories, and poems. His novel Work, Sex and Rugby won the World Book Day We Are What We Read national poll for Wales. His play Sex and Power at the Beau Rivage, about a meeting between D.H. Lawrence and the young Welsh writer Rhys Davies at Bandol in 1928, has just finished a six-week tour of Wales and England with Theatr Y Byd. Lewis also has a new book of narrative essays to be published this autumn, called As I Was a Boy Fishing. He lives in Cardiff.
