Amnon Buchbinder has directed numerous short films and two features, The Fishing Trip and Whole New Thing, which was selected for this year's Toronto Film Festival. He is an Associate Professor at York University, where he has been teaching screenwriting for the past ten years. He has a busy practice story-editing feature films, and he has taught professional screenwriting workshops across Canada. He was previously a film programmer for the Toronto and Vancouver International Film Festivals. Buchbinder received his BFA and MFA in Film from the California Institute of the Arts. He is the father of two sons and lives with his family in Toronto.
